The 2019 LGBTQ+ Women Artist Exhibition was created to make a space for queer women to celebrate their art and creativity, particularly in a world that simultaneously marginalizes queer women and devalues women's art as "not as important". In celebration of Women’s History Month, LGBTQ+ women artists and their supporters were invited to come together for an evening art exhibition that worked to connect LGBTQ+ women artists in the Tampa Bay area, support their artwork, and highlight the voices of queer women.
